UN Resident Coordinator


Bradley Busetto (USA) was appointed as UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for the Republic of Armenia on 17 February 2013. 

Before this appointment Bradley worked with the UN World Food Programme (WFP), where most recently he led an innovative initiative to develop a new global model to stop chronic malnutrition in children. Prior to that Mr. Busetto served as Deputy (and then Acting) Director in Indonesia, in the wake of the Indian Ocean tsunami disaster of late 2004.  Assignments with the United Nations have also included service in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Iraq. Outside the UN, Mr. Busetto also held a leadership role at the Wellcome Trust, the global health foundation, where he was responsible for international operations and governance, and helped grow its global presence, especially in Asia and Africa.  Prior to his career in development work Bradley held senior roles in the private sector, including in banking and management consulting.

Bradley holds a BA (with Special Honors in Humanities) and an MA in Philosophy from Stanford University, USA.
