Maria Lukyanova

Ms. Maria Lukyanova (national of the Russian Federation) took up her position as the Head of Office of UN World Food Programme in Armenia on 14 November, 2010. Ms. Lukyanova holds a degree in International Business from a joint programme of San Diego State University in California and Higher School of Economic and Business Science (ESSEC), in Paris, France. Prior to her arrival to Armenia, Ms. Lukyanova worked at WFP headquarters in Rome, managing the relationship between WFP and the Government of the Russian Federation and was the organization's focal point for fundraising for CIS countries with WFP operations - Armenia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Furthermore, Ms. Lukyanova was on a Temporary Duty Assignment in Kyrgyzstan helping with the WFP's emergency response during the Uzbek Emergency. Ms. Lukyanova is fluent in the Russian, English and French languages.
