On 10 August 2009, Ms. Maria Dotsenko (Ukraine) took up her position as DPI Representative at the UN Office in Yerevan, Armenia. Her most recent assignment was with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) as its Spokesperson and Head of the Press and Public Information Unit within the OSCE Mission in Serbia. She also served with other OSCE field operations, and before that, she worked for the US Agency for International Development Regional Mission for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova and some private enterprises. She holds masters of journalism from Kyiv State University and of business administration from International Management Institute and PhD in Mathematics. Apart from her native Ukrainian language, she speaks English and Russian.
