back to Millennium Development Goals: Armenia
Armenia Context
It is expected that by 2015, Armenia will still need development assistance. Obviously Armenia should comply with the increasingly stringent conditions to continue benefiting from such assistance, and should be able to make the best use of it. In this sense, the strengthening of democracy and good governance, and progress in domestic resource mobilization, is crucial. This localized target addresses this issue and defines benchmarks for Armenia's democratic development and good governance.
