On 1 April 2010, Ms. Gayane NASOYAN took up her position as Assistant FAO Representative at the UN Office in Yerevan, Armenia. Her most recent assignment was with FAO as Acting Assistant FAO Representative in Yerevan, Armenia. She also served with the UNDP/FAO Joint Agricultural and Rural Development Coordination Unit in Yerevan, Armenia, and before that, she worked for projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development. She also worked for the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. She holds a Master’s degree in Foreign languages and literature. Apart from her native Armenian language, she speaks English and Russian.
